Over a hundred years ago, segregation and slavery were deemed to be the “norm” of society, though slavery itself no longer exists since days of Jim Crow laws. However, Bill Whittle, NRA Tv host, claims that Obama has taken us back to the slavery days. It was those days when the black people were not allowed to have the same drinking water as the white people.

This week, Whittle ranted about the racial tensions rising in America and blames Obama for the disturbance, claims Media Matters.

Furthermore, Whittle made racial comments by accusing the left-wing politics have split the nation into “tribes and set the tribes at war against each other.” He claims Obama had set America back by 100 years.

Whittle also made an unusual reference to the 1970s sitcom All In The Family, which he ranted that he couldn’t telecast today since it was “it was so open, it was so honest about the discussion of these things.”

All In The Family was a show that had a principal character which was a racist blue collar New Yorker named Caroll O’Connor who constantly hated and expressed resentment toward African Americans, Catholics, Jews, and homosexuals.

In reality, it isn’t Obama who set us back 100 years. It’s men like Whittle, not Obama, who threatens to return us to the narrow-minded and archaic times of segregation.
